Coming up is a tournament for experienced chess players to pit their skills against the best players, in their age group, in the Hawkes Bay.
It is the Secondary Schools Individual Tournament which will be held on the 19th May, 2017.
If you wish to participate, Miss Hawtin has tournament details and permission letters for you to collect. AND remember to keep practising / challenging one another in the school library.
Permission and $5 entry fee are due in to the office by Monday the 8th May.
For this tournament to go ahead we will require transport and parent supervision on the 19th.
